End Game

Remember this? Remember how it angered us, since we really don’t care who Europe thought should be our president?  Now it’s all making sense.

When things don’t make sense, one must look outside the box for the answers. Maybe I’m just a little slow, but when I heard the quote from Obama about the “fundamental transformation of the United States of America”, I really didn’t know what was meant - in terms of our daily lives. Now, two years into his hostile takeover, I’ve realized he was talking about transforming America, but not just into a socialist / welfare state.  That’s been practically in place for some time.  The transformation is from constitutional republic into a democracy, thereby making our wonderful constitution null and void.  That is the evil that is taking place.

This latest “AHA!” moment came when considering his support for “democracy” in the Middle East.  (Really strange, since democracy and shariah are totally incompatible.  Shariah proponents will use democracy to implement shariah, but then democracy will cease to exist.) One part of me says we should support those wanting to be free from tyrannical dictators. The other part fears what the new government will look like. In my new libertarian mindset, I have reconciled that it is up to those people to decide for themselves. We just need to be prepared to defend ourselves against whatever they decide to do. And, furthermore, allow them to live with their decision…But I digress.

Many who question the policies and actions of this president reached some astute conclusions before I did, and this current one is no exception. But, many have focused only on the fact that these are Muslim majority countries and that he’s a Muslim.  That’s between him and God.  And I think it’s short-sighted and not giving enough credit to a silver spooned, ambitious ideologue. That’s when I felt it was time to go deeper.

Here’s a question (I ask a lot of questions): What does Obama have to gain by supporting democratic uprisings no matter who is leading?  Answer: Someone or something has decided that now’s the time for global social change.  But that’s really not enough. The continuation of the answer lies in Obama’s motivation.  Is it even remotely inconceivable that Obama wouldn’t be more than happy to step in as the Secretary General of the United Nations? Hardly.  Does Obama hold, in his heart of hearts, the opinion that America is the problem and needs to be brought down for equity to be achieved across the globe?  Hasn’t he spoken and acted in such a manner?  The Alinsky method, of which Obama was a model student AND TEACHER, says things have to be torn down to be rebuilt in the way desired. We’re seeing it before our eyes globally.

How better to assume his self-styled messianic stature than by supporting every faction that will, now or eventually, be the leaders of those countries?  After all, barring a revolutionary effort from the American people to restore their constitution, the work of tearing America down will be complete or near complete by the end of this term, or certainly the second.  But, why would he stop there?   His whole life has been built around this idea.   When you despise something, you take pride in contributing to its demise.   He has skated to this position with hardly a  bruise.  There is still much to be done in the name of social and economic “justice.”

This scenario has been building for a long time (see many quotes by national and international power players here).  David Rockefeller, a globalist who made his fortune in our capitalist system, but now apparently has decided that others shouldn’t be afforded those same opportunities, said that “”WE ARE ON THE VERGE OF A GLOBAL TRANSFORMATION. ALL WE NEED IS THE RIGHT MAJOR CRISIS AND THE NATIONS WILL ACCEPT THE NWO.”  George Soros, arguably the most prolific supporter/facilitator of global communism  said, ” The United States is the main obstacle to a stable and just world.”  Now, with the obstinate America broken and battered, as planned, Obama can use his appointed position to fully implement the Soros Utopian socialist/communist order.  With newfound”democracies” – or “open societies” as Soros likes to call them, Obama, in order to keep his lofty place among the worldwide masses, will do all he can to look like he supports them, even to his detriment here in America.  Remember, President of the United States used to be the pinnacle of power.  But when Obama’s done with it, it just may not be.

Who would have thought America could have gone so far so fast, that an elected president would deliberately preside over the weakening of America, and few even seem to really care?  Don’t look for answers in the usual places. Glenn Beck has taught us to look behind the curtain.  We are wise to heed that advice.

And the Light Comes On!

Sometimes I just think too much.

I was copied in an email today from a potential new friend (strangely another who is former military, well-armed, etc.)  He was passionate about voting, and voting, and voting again until the bad guys are out and the good guys are in.  I admired and complimented him for his confidence/ optimism that the system actually works that way.  But I had to do what I always do – differ with him and the conventional wisdom.

While voting is important, it is just as important to understand that our government is not the government we were founded upon. Through the 14th amendment (and others), an illegal amendment by many expert opinions, “allowed” the federal government to do many of the things today that are fully outside its jurisdiction. It was the first step toward a “national” government from a federation of independent states.  This is not semantic. It is how we have evolved into servants of government instead of the other way around. Wouldn’t working for 5 months a year – just to cover the cost of government (and quickly exploding debt) – be considered slavery?  Especially when we didn’t volunteer ourselves (directly) to this position?

Notice that it really doesn’t matter which party is in control in DC? Republicans, our purported conservative, fiscally responsible party, can only come up with $61B (1.5%) in cuts from a $4T budget?! And $6B is too much for the Dems?!  This train is headed off a cliff – and fast.  Voting is the least we can do.

God may decide to change our future, but apart from that, we must prepare for difficult times.

I’m still looking for the scenario where this is averted.  Over $100T in unfunded liabilities….. Do we default, which crashes other economies and destroys credit throughout the globe, or does the Federal Reserve’s Quantitative Easing (printing money to buy our own debt!) “pay the debt” with hyperinflation (Bernanke himself said that QE is specifically to induce inflation – the stealing of our wealth)?  These are the choices. Either way, we lose.

OK enough of the problem. Time for the solution. The light I’m speaking of coming on happened about a week ago as I was thinking about my family, how to provide for them and protect them from the above – whenever it happens.  I tried to think about how things would look were our federal government to collapse.  The answer: Eastern Europe after the breakup of the Soviet Union.  What happened? The individual states had to find their own way, that’s what.

What would happen if Ohio (or your state wherever you live) gets its budgets in order, cuts the federal tethers before it crashes with all of us in tow, and stands ready to put together a restored federal system?  Like it was founded in the first place!  This may be just what the doctor ordered. Will it be rough? Probably. Will it be a tumultuous time. Most likely.  Our state government would still be in place. Our constitution would still apply. There really would be no absolute necessity that strife comes about – at least not for an extended period of time. The thing is, if we didn’t send so much Ohio money to DC for them to squander in pandering to their special interests, we’d be more than capable of taking care of our own anyway. Geez, that sounds so simple.

The real bright spot is that there are many already on this road. State sovereignty via the state legislature, or, if the legislators won’t do it,  options like the Ohio Sovereignty Amendment (www.pccoh.com) are our best shot.   Look at all the legislators in statehouses around the country looking to nullify Obamacare, federal gun laws, write their own immigration laws and so forth. Seems some have gotten it. (Contact me of you want to know more about the sovereignty amendment – or would help promote it).

Someone smarter than me said, “Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insanity.”
It’s time to change our thinking.
And the game.

Have We Not Learned Anything?

As another call goes out to tea parties across the state to counter an on-going protest by the public unions over the proposed Senate Bill 5, I must ask, “Have we not learned anything?”

We are seeing a full-blown assault on our representative republic to transform it into a democracy.  Thomas Jefferson said, “A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”  Sad thing is, those who should know better, those of us who have now studied our founding, have been led into contributing to this degradation. By calling for counter-protests, regardless if you call it a “rally in support of…”, feeds the division that is desired by the revolutionaries.  Big mobs beget bigger mobs.  That can’t end well.

A representative republic, the most stable system in a free society, means that we should elect those who best represent not our wants, but our ability to pursue our rights to Life, Liberty and Happiness in a manner we see fit (that doesn’t interfere with others’ equally guaranteed rights).  I don’t care which party is in charge, that is their duty. The way our system works is to let your representative know where you stand – in a civil manner as often as possible - and let them do their jobs. If they don’t, you make your case against them and vote otherwise in the next election. Barring a change of government, that is your only option. Both parties have failed miserably, yet the revolutionaries have convinced both sides that the other is the enemy.  How can we survive as a unified nation in that type of environment?

I beg my tea party friends, please stop and think about where this leads.  Look at your kids’ teachers, firefighters, police officers and tell me why we should be protesting against them?  The official statement is that it’s to rein in out-of-control spending.  But how is the media portraying it? Like they always do.  Tea Parties bad, firefighters, teachers and police good. Why give them the story? Yes, our budget is a mess, and yes, there is some extravagance and inequality between public sector and private sector employment.  Why is this such a line in the sand when the actual problem in the states is most often unfunded federal mandates and regulations?   Why are we not “holding our representatives’ feet to the fire” (the mantra of those beholden to the two party system) on the right of states to nullify unconstitutional federal laws and mandates? That alone would fix much of our fiscal problem.  That’s how you unite average citizens.  The fringes, right and left, are the minority.

The only effort I’ve seen to address the constitutional issue, that of the tenth amendment rights of sovereign states vs. the melding of states into a “national” government run from Washington, DC., is the Ohio Sovereignty Amendment.  The amendment has been effectively embargoed by the state-wide liberty group hierarchy.  The same group calling for the counter protests.  The argument I’ve been given is mostly that it’s too big and the learning curve is too long.  In other words, we’re too stupid to understand it, so no sense in putting it out there.  I’m not questioning their commitment to liberty, but I am questioning why their efforts are feeding the fire set by the revolutionaries who want this ”democracy” and ignoring a possible real solution.

SB5 is low-hanging fruit. If this is a show of solidarity to support those who are for S B 5 in the face of the unions, I get it. I went to the “big one” on 9/12.  That was different. It was the first time EVER that regular people from all over the country decided to make themselves known in DC.  But in the here and now, rallies and counter-rallies are not going to help.  In fact, as we’re seeing, the average union worker, who until now has been going about his/her own business will begin to see the tea parties as against them. It is a trap, and some have walked right into it.

If you want to see what a real solution may look like, go to www.pccoh.com. That is the website of the Peoples Constitution Coalition of Ohio, the authors and promoters of the amendment. I’ve spent many hours with these guys. They understand that the fix is not any easy one, nor is it a quick one.  But they, like me and many friends, understand that it likely may be the only peaceful one.

(Well, there just went the rest of my tea party friendships.)

Survival Lessons Learned From the Middle East Turmoil

Here’s an article from the survival author we feature on this site.  Says the dollar actually lost ground during the turmoil, when usually it gains from instability. Sign that the dollars is almost over as the reserve currency of the world? Perhaps or perhaps not. But something is certainly amiss.

The Black Man, Progressive’s Perfect Trojan Horse-Lloyd Marcus

Here is excellent insight into why this president can and does push his agenda against the will of a majority of Americans- besides being a socialist ideologue with power.  It’s by Lloyd Marcus – read it here http://www.lloydmarcus.com/?p=1114 or here:

As millions of my fellow Americans, I am outraged, devastated and extremely angry by the Democrat’s unbelievable arrogance and disdain for We The People. Despite our screaming “no” from the rooftops, they forced Obamacare down our throats. Please forgive me for using the following crude saying, but it is very appropriate to describe what has happened. “Don’t urinate on me and tell me it’s raining.”

Democrats say their mission is to give all Americans health care. The Democrats are lying. Signing Obamacare into law against our will and the Constitution is tyranny and step one of their hideous goal of having as many Americans as possible dependent on government, thus controlling our lives and fulfilling Obama’s promise to fundamentally transform America.

I keep asking myself. How did our government move so far from the normal procedures of getting things done? Could a white president have so successfully pulled off shredding the Constitution to further his agenda? I think not.

Ironically, proving
America is completely the opposite of the evil racist country they relentlessly accuse her of being, progressives used America ‘s goodness, guilt and sense of fair play against her. In their quest to destroy America as we know it, progressives borrowed a brilliant scheme from Greek mythology. They offered America a modern day Trojan Horse, a beautifully crafted golden, shiny new black man as a presidential candidate. Democrat Joe Biden lauded Obama as the first clean and articulate African American candidate. Democrat Harry Reid said Obama only uses a black dialect when he wants.

White America relished the opportunity to vote for a black man, naively believing they would never suffer the pain of being called racist again. Black Americans viewed casting their vote for Obama as the ultimate Affirmative Action for  America ‘s sins of the past.

Then there were the entitlement loser voters who said, “I’m votin’ for the black dude who promises to take from those rich SOBs and give to me.”

Just as the deceived Trojans dragged the beautifully crafted Trojan Horse into Troy as a symbol of their victory, deceived Americans embraced the progressive’s young, handsome, articulate and so called moderate, black presidential candidate as a symbol of their liberation from accusation of being a racist nation. Also like the Trojan Horse, Obama was filled with the enemy hiding inside.

Sunday, March 21, 2010, a secret door opened in Obama, the shiny golden black man. A raging army of Democrats charged out. Without mercy, they began their vicious bloody slaughter of every value, freedom and institution we Americans hold dear; launching the end of America as we know it.

Wielding swords of votes reeking with the putrid odor of back door deals, the
Democrats landed a severe death blow to America and individual rights by passing Obamacare.

The mainstream liberal media has been relentlessly badgering the Tea Party
M ovement with accusations of racism. Because I am a black Tea Party patriot, I am bombarded with interviewers asking me the same veiled question. “Why are you siding with these white racists against America ‘s first African American president?” I defend my fellow patriots who are white stating, “These patriots do not give a hoot about Obama’s skin color. They simply love their country and oppose his radical agenda. Obama’s race is not an issue.”

Recently, I have come to believe that perhaps I am wrong about Obama’s race not being an issue. In reality, Obama’s presidency has everything to do with racism, but not from the Tea Party movement. Progressives and Obama have exploited his race from the rookie senator’s virtually unchallenged presidential campaign to his unprecedented bullying of America into Obamacare. Obama’s race trumped all normal media scrutiny of him as a presidential candidate and most recently even the Constitution of the United States. Obamacare forces all Americans to purchase health care which is clearly unconstitutional.

No white president could get away with boldly and arrogantly thwarting the will of the American people and ignoring laws. President Clinton tried universal health care. Bush tried
S ocial Security reform. The American people said “no” to both president’s proposals and it was the end of it. So how can Obama get away with giving the American people the finger? The answer. He is black.

The mainstream liberal media continues to portray all who oppose Obama in any way as racist. Despite a list of failed policies, overreaches into the private sector, violations of the Constitution and planned destructive legislation too numerous to mention in this article, many Americans are still fearful of criticizing our first black president. Incredible.

My fellow Americans, you must not continue to allow yourselves to be “played” and intimidated by Obama’s race or the historical context of his presidency. If we are to save
America, the greatest nation on the planet, Obama’s progressive agenda must be stopped.

Another rally? No, thanks.

As a proponent of states’ rights and the need for citizens to take a stand against out-of-control anything in government, I really thought I should go to this rally / hearing.  But, something in my gut told me to rethink, and eventually to stay away.  It isn’t the right thing – at least for me.  The flames of division are growing hotter – right here in America as well as across the globe.  Let the Left stir themselves into a frenzy. We should not be doing that on our side.

A few days ago, several hundred pro-union supporters gathered in the same place to protest SB 5, which would eliminate collective bargaining for public unions. We need to understand the point of their protest- it effectively dissolves their organization.  I’m no fan of unions, but I understand their point.  Common sense says that public unions should not even be allowed to exist, since the object is usually to garner higher pay or job security, at the expense of  and not necessarily in the service of, the taxpayer.  Neither merit nor productivity play much of a role in the negotiations with the unions.
No one can deny the explosion of public sector hiring and the pensions that will inevitably follow. Most Americans won’t come close to receiving retirement benefits like public sector workers.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t disparage those who went.  Your leadership has told you it’s the right thing to do.

That being said, most of us believed and said that the time for rallies had passed.  We’ve educated ourselves, and continue to do so, some worked to elect responsible candidates who we think will work in the interests of all citizens not just special interests, and now we must take a breath and let them do their jobs.  Phone calls and emails may or may not make a difference, but experience shows rallies don’t either. But they are not confrontational or incendiary as a counter-rally has the potential to be.

We are a nation being pitted one against another. Are we not adding fuel to that fire? If elections are the answer, a position that isn’t fully sufficient for me (which is why I support the Ohio Sovereignty Amendment), then the next cycle will bring more adjustments. That’s the way our system works. Democracy is “mob rule.” Peaceful or not, ”Our mob is bigger than your mob” isn’t the road the tea party movement started out on.

Everyone wants to be a part of something big. But if that big thing is going off-track, I’m jumping off.

Just a thought.

Nullify Now comes to Cincinnati!

This is a DON’T MISS event!
I’ve been a subscriber of the Tenth Amendment Center for a while now, and it has been enlightening.  If you are not, you’re missing good information and education necessary to defeat the statists in both parties.

The Cincinnati 912 Project is spreading the word on the arrival of Thomas Woods and the Nullify Now Tour on March 5th at the Freedom Center. Tickets should be available soon through our 912 Project as a fundraiser to help us cover printing and future event costs.  Please purchase your tickets through us.

The link to the details is http://www.nullifynow.com/cincinnati/  Sheriff Mack is part of this tour, and I hope he makes it to Cincinnati. We hosted him with the No Sheriff left Behind book tour about a year ago. The Sheriff was the spark for me.  Local control is how we were founded.  He showed that the sheriff can stand between his people and the federal government and win.

The same goes for the state legislature. Problem is, they didn’t (and most still don’t) know they are supposed to be the protectors of the citizens of their state against the federal government. Most have become lackeys of the federal government. Both parties are guilty. That is up-side down.  This must change.  It’s past time to turn this ship rightside up!

Join the Tenth Amendment Center’s email list, FB page and reach across the political aisle and invite some friends that are for restoring their rights and protections guaranteed by the state and federal constitutions. This is not about party. It’s about the law!  Join us on March 5th!

It Can’t Happen in America?

Got this from my FB friend, Jules.
I quit watching national news 10 years ago or more, as did a lot of other people.
Can’t believe ABC News actually ran this.

It’s only two minutes long.
I’ll just say it’s about Katrina, the National Guard and confiscation of private citizens’ guns, but it is frightening and maddening.
So, the answer is YES!

What I Know…(or at least think I do)

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything from the heart, though not for lack of wanting to. The business of a job with a new product line and customer base, and a wife and 4 kids just makes it very difficult to sit down and pour something onto a page that anyone MAY want to read. But here goes.

Here’s where I feel we are, or at least where I am.  Since nobody else has felt compelled to contribute to this blog, you get me.

We’ve come to a place where the blinders have come off, we’ve made our case, and, as a movement, we still stand after some pretty vile, vicious and slanderous attacks.  Some of us have gone the political route, while others have gone the education route. Both are necessary for our nation’s survival.

What now?  For some, the Chosen Party is now in control of the House and they’re gearing up for the Senate and White House battles in 2012. Others, like me, have learned more than we really wanted to know about how far we’ve been led astray.  We know how we got where we are and have serious concerns that we’ll never get back. Or even close. Some have gone back to their lives, albeit changed to some extent, and more are just waking up and are in frantic mode where we were a couple years ago.  I must say it has been a challenge to be all things to all people.

What do I know? I know that I’m one who questions everything, one who is a contrarian, one who has made a conscious effort to really learn who I am and what I believe.  I know I’m just shy of full-blown Libertarianism.  I know that I should only count on myself to be responsible for protecting and providing for my family.  All else is secondary.  I would be wary of anyone who says otherwise.  I believe that, without a miracle of the Almighty God, America is in for some very difficult times.  Neither government, denial nor ignorance will spare the unprepared from their plight.

I know I’ve strained more than one relationship in the movement for being so outspoken, especially when it came to politics this election season, but as one who has figured out who I am, and what I stand for, I could not do otherwise.  I will not get in bed with an adulteress.  I’ve also stirred the pot for a few leaders in the movement, locally and statewide, over the lack of support for the Ohio Sovereignty Amendment.  Too many have put their faith in the political system and they will again soon be greatly disappointed.

I know I’ve made some real friends.  Few people prior to my involvement in the 912 Project would I have considered Brothers-in-Arms.  Now, if something were to go terribly wrong, there are some that would have my back, and I theirs.  So many say they pledge their lives, fortunes and sacred honor, but it’s just a platitude.  Not these people.   At times they’ve been encouragers. Other times, mentors.  And for their friendship I’m grateful.

I know I have delusions of grandeur. I thought that I could help grow the 912 Project to be a major force in Cincinnati. We would be prepared for anything, a huge voting block that included all ages and races, and the ones who “get it.”  Hasn’t quite turned out that way.  Am I disappointed? Sure. Any regrets? Just that I may not have done everything that I could up to this point.   But I made a commitment 18 years ago to be my wife’s husband, and for almost 16 years now I’ve been a father.  Could I have given a few more sacrificial hours? Yes.  Would it have made a difference? I doubt it.

This may seem like a surrender or a giving up, but it is not. It is a reflection, a taking of stock. I will continue to speak boldly. I will stand for what’s right. I will defend my God. I will defend my family and friends. I will not, however, walk blindly into the future.

Where does this all go from here?  Hard to say right now.  What I know is that I have food piling up in my basement, now have a couple fireams and am really tired of trying to shake people awake.  But I know that the ones who won’t open their eyes will be a big problem somehwere down the road.  As one who questions everything, what does that say about me?  The pessimist/realist in me says,”Resigned,” but the American in me says, “We’re not done yet!”

I know I’m supposed to “let go and let God”.  I DON’T know how to do that. As a man responsible for a wife and 4 kids, it is engrained in me to do whatever is necessary to see they’re provided for.  How does one prepare for something one has never experienced?  Learn from history.  There is nothing new under the sun.  Everything we may experience has happened before – many times, I’m sure.  Forgiveness for my sin must also include this lack of complete trust in His providence.

One last thing that I know: that I have enjoyed the calm that comes from knowledge. I’m not saying I don’t get angry now and again, but  there’s a reason for “fear of the unknown.” I don’t look for fires to chase anymore.  I beg each of you to do the same.  It is imperative that we continue to expose what we know, but with an air of authority, not panic.  We are the people who will be looked to for guidance or leadership.  Power abhors a vacuum.  Who better to fill that than those who are calm, knowledgeable and prepared?

Who Are We Taking Our Country Back From?

Good question.

This is from the Tenth Amendment Center at http://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2011/01/we-want-to-be-our-own-masters/#more-6157.  The states are supposed to be our protectors. Now’s the time to call your Reps and tell them what they are required to do.

Begins here:

We were raised with the notion that we control our own lives, liberty, and happiness as long as we don’t deny others the same and play within the rules we get to keep those natural rights by virtue of our Creator; or our humanity as you will. Government was instituted to protect and defend those God given rights; our freedom does not originate from the bill of rights, the bill of rights is a restraining order on the Federal government.

To further protect our natural rights from government, power was divided into a compound republic (one with many parts) where each was to jealously guard its authority from the others and preserve the balance of that power so that no single part of the whole would become powerful enough to deny us those rights.

Today our compound republic is out of balance; the Federal government has almost won the sovereignty war and we are witnessing a fundamental breakdown of the checks and balances that safeguard our freedom. Ever so slowly they have taken ownership of our rights to the point where in their arrogance they are taking over corporations and even attempting to prevent us from growing our own food in our back yard along with deciding what food our children can or cannot eat and carelessly spending our money without regard for the consequences we and our children pay for their actions.

We don’t want to replace our left wing masters in D.C. with right wing masters; we want to be our own masters! This ownership of personal sovereignty is what needs to be restored! The volatility of national elections has been an attempt by us to get people in D.C. who understand what we DON’T want them to do. Unfortunately D.C. has been better at corrupting everyone we send faster than we can find honest people.

There is a growing consensus among patriots across this Nation that the balance will only be restored through the States, as the Federal government is spinning wildly out of control to the point when asked “Where in the Constitution do you derive this authority?” the response includes laughter and then “Are you serious?”

The answer is nothing less than taking our country back from Washington D.C.

The recent elections across this Nation reflect the realization that we need the States to stand against the Federal government, the historic turn of power in State Capitols across this Nation are a result. The path to restore our sovereignty will not be easy, and our legislators in every State Capitol need to know they have our support! We tried on our own; we now turn to the States for support in the battle to stop the madness emanating from D.C.

Get to know your State Representatives and Senators, encourage them to take a stand!
